QINETIC Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

QINETIC is a personal iOS gym and workout tracking application developed by Ivan Aguilar and Santiago Chavez under QuackQuick, an independent software project. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the QINETIC mobile application. By using QINETIC, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide:

• Account Information: name and email address. Google Sign-In is also supported, providing basic profile info (name and email).
• Workout Data: exercise names, sets, reps, weights, and personal notes.
• Profile Information: optional profile photo.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically:

• Usage Data: general interaction data (features used, session frequency) to improve the experience.
• Device Information: basic device identifiers (e.g. OS version) for operation and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: provide, operate, and maintain the App; save and sync workout history and notes; authenticate identity and secure accounts; respond to support requests; and improve features and fix bugs.

We do NOT sell personal information. We do NOT use data for advertising.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely using Supabase, with:

• Encrypted data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies so users only access their own data
• Secure authentication tokens

No method of storage is 100% secure — users should use a strong password.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not share personal data with these services beyond what is necessary to operate core features.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained while the account is active. Users may request deletion at any time (see Section 8). Upon deletion, data is permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children's Privacy

QINETIC is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact us to request removal if you believe a child under 13 has submitted data.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Users may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of your data
• Correction — fix inaccurate data
• Deletion — delete account and data via Settings screen in the App
• Portability — request data in a portable format

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date or via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
